Welcome to Port City Review
Port City Review is the Savannah College of Art and Design’s literary arts journal, produced, curated, edited and designed by students as a way to showcase the best work of students. Port City Review welcomes submissions in all forms and from all majors from students in Savannah.
The premiere issue of Port City Review is now available. Pick up a copy at the SCAD Student Media Center, in the back of the computer lab at D at The Hive/Dyson House, at 121 W. Boundary St. Copies will also be available during summer and fall orientation events. Pick up a copy of the journal, and learn how to submit to next year’s issue. The deadline for the 2014 issue is Oct. 14, 2013.
Our Philosophy
If the best artists are the ones who steal, Port City Review is an almanac for creative kleptos. It’s entirely student-produced, completely and unequivocally composed of work that’s come from a SCAD education. Not only that, but it’s the bee’s knees of what us artsy folk came here to do. Think of it as a stepping stool to stand on the shoulders of aspiring giants.
